Planned Grazing Course with Kirk Gadzia This April in Fort
Worth, Texas
Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers and Holistic Management Texas team up to
offer a new “Planned Grazing” course at the Will Rogers Memorial
Center, Ft. Worth, TX, April 21-25, 2010.
The emphasis for this five-day course will be on grazing planning, but instructor
Kirk Gadzia will cover rangeland monitoring, financial planning and land planning
as well. The content will be relevant to both managerial and operational level
employees, with varying levels of formal education. There will be a lands-on
Learning aspect if weather permits. Class runs from 8am to 4:15pm each day.
Kirk Gadzia, one of the most popular instructors in the field, is co-author of
the important National Academy of Sciences book: Rangeland Health. He
holds a BS degree in Wildlife Biology and an MS in Range Science. Founder of
Resource Management Services, LLC, Kirk is a Certified Educator with Holistic
Management International. He has over 20 years experience teaching these concepts
worldwide. Combined with his extensive international consulting work on many
agricultural operations, he is uniquely qualified to help you achieve your learning
objectives. Kirk works directly with producers to achieve profitability in their
operations.
He also provides customized training and consulting to a wide variety
of conservation organizations. Years of assisting people on the land
helps Kirk approach the course in an interactive, hands-on style. His
courses are known for a relaxed atmosphere, open dialogue and practical
real-life examples.
Planned grazing is a specific method of planning to have the right
animals at the right place in the right timeframe for the right reasons.
